15 procedures that enhance traffic safety for school students

The Ministry of Interior directed students, parents and school bus drivers to adhere to 15 procedures during the school trip, with the aim of achieving traffic safety on the roads, and reaching a safe academic year.
She revealed that the four black points deducting the driver’s license will be implemented exclusively for the committed drivers within the “Day without Accidents” initiative, on September 15th, electronically, without the need to review the service centers.
In detail, the Ministry of Interior directed the students to adhere to four procedures, including: the need to wait until the road is free of vehicles and then crossing in a straight line, adhering to safety instructions while sitting in the seat, descending from the bus or car after it stopped completely, and following the safety instructions learned by the student from school and home.
Parents directed to adhere to six procedures, including: planning the trip to school and returning from it in advance and ensuring the safety of the road, teaching children traffic safety rules and reviewing them regularly, making sure that students cross the road safely, communicate with the school to know their traffic plans and ensure the safety of children, and participate in traffic awareness campaigns to increase awareness of the importance of traffic safety, and cooperation With government agencies and schools to ensure students safety.
As for school bus drivers, the Ministry of Interior directed them to the need to adhere to five procedures, including: non -preoccupation with the road, adherence to the limits of the speed specified, especially around schools, leaving a sufficient safety distance between the bus and the cars in front of them, and stopping completely when the school bus stops to get and the rise of students, and finally take care when going back or getting out of the parking.
The Ministry of Interior represented by the Federal Traffic Council, in coordination with all the general police leaders in the country, launched the beginning of the new academic year 2025-2026, its comprehensive traffic campaign within the efforts to enhance traffic safety, and to emphasize the importance of protection and flow of traffic for everyone’s safety, and the campaign began with the initiative of “without accidents” on the first school day.
The Ministry of Interior Center for Child Protection also organizes a sub -campaign, to enhance awareness in the areas of children’s protection within the jurisdiction of the center through a series of awareness activities in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
Drivers committed to not violating traffic and traffic laws, as part of the “Day Without Accidents” initiative launched by the Ministry of Interior, receives four traffic points, after pledged six obligations, including: leaving a safe distance between vehicles, giving pedestrians priority when crossing the road, connecting the seat belt while driving, adhering to the speed of the road, not using the phone while driving, giving the way to the road vehicles, emergency vehicles, Ambulance, police and official processions.
The community initiative aims to maintain the safety of road users, and the community’s participation in promoting traffic awareness.
