"Interior" Organize a forum "The role of international police services in enhancing societies security"

Abu Dhabi, September 7 / WAM / The Ministry of Interior, represented by the International Affairs Office, on the occasion of the International Day for International Police Cooperation, which falls on September 7 of each year, organized a forum entitled “The role of international police services in enhancing societies’ security”, with the participation of speakers representing regional and international police and eligibility institutions and elites of experts and specialists in the areas of law enforcement and security, talked about the importance of cooperation and international integration in order to enhance the security of societies around the world.

He spoke at the forum, which was organized by default, Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al -Raisi, President of the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Iman Ahmed Al -Salami, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Tunisian Republic, Lt. Dana Hamid Al Marzouki, Director General of the International Affairs Office at the Ministry of Interior, and His Excellency Elemani Audamandi, Director General of International Relations and Immigration Affairs in the Spanish Ministry of Interior, Irkli Peridze, President The Center for the Artificial Intelligence and Robotat of the United Nations Institute for Crime and Justice Research, and His Excellency Counselor Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Al -Kaabi, a representative of the Gulf Police, and Danny Van Elthius, from the European Police Organization “Europol”.

The forum, which was attended by Counselor Abdullah Hassan Al Marzouqi, Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Justice, and its administration, Lt. Col. Hassan Al -Badawi, from the Khalifa Empowerment Program “Akdar”, dealt with major axes that focused on the importance of promoting integration and developing the mechanisms of joint police work, in light of the increasing global security challenges, and the need to unify international efforts in combating crime and enhancing societies security.

The speakers emphasized that international police cooperation represents an essential pillar to protect societies and ensure security and stability, noting that the exchange of experiences, information and capabilities enhances the readiness of the police services to confront the emerging security risks, and that this cooperation is an essential pillar in enhancing the security of societies; It allows the exchange of successful experiences and practices between the security services around the world, which contributes to developing innovative community initiatives aimed at protecting individuals and enhancing their security awareness.
