"Women’s renaissance" Organizing the ninth mass wedding in 2025

Dubai, December 10 / WAM / The Al Nahda Women’s Association in Dubai, at its headquarters, organized the ninth group wedding for the year 2025, as part of the country’s celebrations of the 54th Union Day, and within the framework of the association’s initiatives in the Year of Society, with the aim of empowering young people and reducing the living burdens of those about to get married.
Organizing the wedding comes in the context of a national trend that supports the stability of the Emirati family, contributes to alleviating the financial burdens on young people, and enabling them to begin their married lives within a stable environment that reflects the values of Emirati society and its authentic identity.
Afra Mubarak Al-Hai, general supervisor of the group wedding initiative, said that the ninth edition of the wedding targeted 15 young people from the category that did not benefit from the marriage fund or other group wedding programs because the conditions did not apply to them, in addition to a segment of people of determination, in a step that embodies the association’s commitment to its societal role in bridging the gaps and supporting groups that may face challenges in building a stable family.
She appreciated the generous support provided by an Emirati businesswoman, which contributed to enhancing the sustainability of the initiative and expanding the scope of its beneficiaries, stressing that this giving embodies the spirit of solidarity and social cohesion rooted in the UAE, and reflects an honorable image of Emirati women in supporting purposeful community initiatives.
Al-Hai explained that the mass wedding initiative is one of the most important social programs adopted by the association to empower youth and protect the Emirati family from modern challenges, noting that choosing groups that did not benefit from the marriage fund expresses the association’s keenness to provide real opportunities for young people to build stable and happy families.
She stressed that the Al Nahda Women’s Association will continue to launch initiatives and projects that enhance community cohesion and contribute to building strong Emirati families capable of actively participating in the development process witnessed by the country.
