Urgent Public Prosecution: The first and second defendants were imprisoned in the incident of embezzlement of an artifact from the Egyptian Museum
The Public Prosecution ordered the imprisonment of the employee specialized in the restoration factory of the Egyptian Museum and the second accused of selling an archaeological bracelet of gold, reserves for investigations, and release two others with a financial guarantee in an incident that lost one of the artifacts from inside the factory. What is the subject of the laboratory in place of the incident with what is actually fixed inside it, and the committee’s report resulted in monitoring violations, most notably the violation of the regulations for organizing work in the warehouses approved by the Standing Committee for Egyptian Antiquities during the year 2023, regarding the procedures for delivering and receiving artifacts; The matter was limited to proving the impact in the minutes of its movement without any signatures by delivery or surrender, as well as not to strip the laboratory cabinet on a daily basis.
& nbsp; Photography machines inside the factory, and investigations are being completed to determine the responsibility of the museum in that incident.
& nbsp; Where I moved to inspect the location of the incident after the assignment of the experts of the General Administration of Criminal Evidence to raise the material evidence that might result from the examination, and I also listened to a number of the museum officials and members of its insurance to determine the mechanism of circulating the missing impact between the museum sections, and reserved on the relevant documents.
