Sharjah Airport receives "Customer experience renewal certificate "From the International Airports Council

Sharjah, September 29 / WAM / Sharjah Airport received a certificate of renewal of the approval of the “Customer Experience at Airport level 2” from the International Airport Council (ACI), as part of its continuous commitment to improving the quality of services and providing a safe and smart travel experience for travelers.
This came during the ceremony, which was held in the Chinese city of Guanzo within the work of the 2025 airports experience organized by the International Airports Council in the presence of a number of senior officials and representatives of regional and international airports participating in the event.
The program aims to help airports to adopt international best practices in a way that enhances travelers’ satisfaction across the various stages of the trip.
The customer experience accreditation program is a gradual framework to improve the management of customer experience in airports through 5 levels of accreditation that covers 8 main areas that include understanding of customers, strategy, measurement, operational improvement, governance, airport culture, services design, innovation and cooperation with the airport community.
Sharjah Airport obtained this accreditation for the first time in 2022 before being renewed in 2025 to confirm its position among the elite of international airports that put the experience of travelers at the top of its priorities and reflects its continuous commitment to developing services and upgrading operating standards to keep pace with the growing growth in the number of travelers.
His Excellency Ali Salem Al -Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah International Airport Authority, emphasized that renewing the approval of the customer experience program from the International Airports Council enhances the position of Sharjah Airport on the global aviation map and at the same time established the emirate’s position as an advanced position in the air transport sector.
He added that this achievement reflects the confidence that the international bodies of the aviation sector in the services provided by Sharjah Airport as an integrated, safe and smart travel destination and demonstrate the efficiency of the teams working in various operating and administrative sectors and their commitment to applying the highest levels of quality and planning according to international standards.
Sharjah Airport is affirmed by this accreditation, its implementation is a clear strategy and advanced work mechanisms to understand the expectations of travelers through feedback for traveler’s questionnaires, data analysis, drawing the services map provided in the travel of the airport through the airport, training work teams in the front rows and improving operational operations in a way that contributes to lifting the levels of satisfaction with the services provided.
The airport continues to implement innovative initiatives that enhance customer experience from the moment of arrival to departure, with a focus on operating improvement, measuring travelers’ satisfaction, and consolidating customer service culture, in order to support the position of Sharjah on the map of regional and international aviation.
