Cosmin is betting on 6 new faces before facing Oman and Qatar

The national team enters a new and articulated stage in its career towards qualifying for the 2026 World Cup Finals, with the announcement of the coach, Olario Cosmin, the expanded list that is in an internal preparatory camp in Dubai that extends until next Tuesday, in preparation for the confrontations of Oman and Qatar, on the 11th and 14th of this month, in Doha, within the decisive Asian attaché qualified to the 2026 World Cup in America, Mexico and Canada.
The list combined a mix between experience and new faces that join for the first time to “Al -Abyad”, in addition to the return of some of the names that were absent in the last period, as it is noteworthy that the technical staff opened the door to a group of new elements that will get the opportunity to appear the first with the national team officially, namely: Nicholas Khomenez, Richard Akonor, Robin Philip, and Eric de Menesis, where they have already joined the past preparation camp in Austria, they will get the opportunity to participate for the first time officially with the national team, while Gustavo Alex and the Souza torrent joined the list for the first time in their career, as these names reflect a clear trend to renew the team’s blood, and give additional options in various centers, especially since the team is about to historical stage.
On the other hand, the list witnessed the return of experience elements, such as Majid Hassan, who represents an important addition in the middle of the stadium, and Nader, the owner of the ability to play in more than one tactical role, along with Khaled Al -Dhanhani after the end of his suspension period, and Fahd Al -Dhanhani, as the number of goalkeepers was raised to four with the latter’s accession to Khaled Issa, Ali Khasif and Hamad Al -Muqbali, which gives the technical staff greater flexibility in this sensitive center.
At the same time, the technical staff decided to exclude Gaston Suarez and Mohamed Awad from the list, after they were in the last Austria camp, and Sultan Adel, Al -Ahly youth striker, was expected to appear in the training later.
These changes place “white” in front of a double challenge, as the technical staff seeks to quickly integrate the new elements with experienced people in order to reach the best combination capable of providing the required performance in the attachment, especially since the two games against Oman and Qatar are not tolerated risk or loss of focus, which makes joining the new faces a dual weapon, between the ambition of self -confirmation on the one hand, and the need for rapid harmony on the other hand.
Meanwhile, the UAE team entered the stage of reformulation, which combines investing new talents and restored important pillars, in an attempt to make a team that is able to compete strongly, and booked the historic qualification card to the World Cup.
