Kigali, October 4/ WAM/ The delegation of the General Secretariat of the Khalifa Educational Award – one of the institutions of the Zayed Human Human Foundation – briefed on the efforts of Rwandan organizations and institutions in the field of early childhood empowerment.

Hamid Al -Huti, Secretary -General of the award, said in statements to him that the award delegation held a meeting during the visit with Joan Musonga, director of the Children’s Rescue Organization in Rwanda and a number of its officials who presented a comprehensive picture about the emergence and development of the organization in ensuring the rights of children and protecting them from violence, as well as health and nutrition programs in the field of early education.

He noted that the award delegation also met Emily Fernandez, director of Plan International Rwanda, and joint cooperation was discussed and the organization’s efforts in the field of protecting children’s rights, gender equality and empowering girls and most vulnerable children.

He pointed to the visit of the delegation, the “Early Childhood Development Center” in the city of Niarogonga, during which it is known for the nature of its work and its role in caring for children.
