Egyptian scholarships "Farida Eid" Best Designer Award 2025 at the COMESA Summit
During the awards ceremony of the 24th COMESA Summit In which Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, participates in granting the African Leather and Leather Products Institute (ALLPI) the Egyptian-designed Farida Eid, Award for Best Designer of the Year 2025 within the activities of the Leather Design Talents Exhibition in Africa "Natural Leather Remains Distinctive".
The award was received on behalf of Farida Eid, a representative of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade.
The African Leather and Leather Products Institute said that in the third year the African continent remains part of the global campaign “Natural Leather Remains Excellent.”
He explained The Institute, in a speech, stated that Farida Eid, as the best African designer of the year, will represent Africa in the international exhibition “Natural Leather Remains Distinctive.” It is scheduled to be hosted by Taiwan at the end of this month, where her works will be displayed alongside the works of other international winners.
The institute added: In recognition of this distinguished achievement, Farid Eid was also honored at the twenty-fourth Summit of Heads of State and Government of the COMESA, and this prestigious award confirms her personal achievement and Egypt’s distinguished contribution to the leather industries in Africa.
