Trump’s companions on foreign trips complain about his lack of sleep

Journalist Kaitlan Collins, from CNN, said that White House staff do not enjoy foreign trips with President Donald Trump, due to his lack of sleep. “Trump doesn’t sleep,” Collins added in the latest episode of Jason Tartick’s “Trading Secrets” podcast.
Collins quoted a White House source as once telling her: “No one should ever want to be on Air Force One on a trip with Trump because he simply doesn’t sleep on those flights.” Collins explained: “If there is a trip to Asia or something similar, the only time a person sleeps is before the trip begins, but Trump is always awake and talking, and he asks his companions to wake up employees if they are sleeping because he wants to talk to them.”
She continued: “We have a long flight to Asia, and we know that we will not sleep on that flight.”
Trump has bragged about his lack of sleep for years, saying: “You know, I’m not a fan of sleep. I only sleep three or four hours. I toss and turn in my bed all the time, and I make a whistling noise, and I want to know what’s going on.” This is what Trump bragged about during his 2016 presidential campaign.
erratic behaviour
For her part, former Huffington Post editor-in-chief Arianna Huffington once said that the president’s erratic behavior and mood changes indicate that he suffers from chronic sleep deprivation.
Even Vice President J.D. Vance admitted last month that Trump “never calms down” and that he talks on the phone at all hours of the day and night.
“It’s as if I’m asking, ‘Mr. President, did you sleep last night?'” Vance said on Fox News. What’s going on here?
He added that Trump sleeps just over four hours a night, and often calls his allies, such as Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick or Fox News’ Sean Hannity, in the early morning hours to chat.
Amazing
Other high-ranking members of the “Make America Great Again” movement emphasized the same. “None of us can keep up with him,” Attorney General Pam Bondi told podcast host Katie Miller, a former White House aide who is married to Trump’s senior adviser. “I don’t know how he does it.” I mean, none of us know when to sleep. “He works all the time, it’s a constant thing for him.”
While Vance and Bondi may view Trump’s sleeping habits as surprising, White House press secretary Carolyn Levitt insisted they were a sign of his commitment to office.
“I see this with my own eyes every day,” Leavitt told Fox News last July. “This man works around the clock and rarely sleeps.”
She added: “He is constantly thinking about not only the problems of our country here, but around the world, and how to solve them.” About “Huffington Post”
Enough sleep
In January 2018, the White House physician, Dr. Ronnie Jackson, said that US President Donald Trump is one of the people who does not need the necessary hours of sleep, adding: “I think he sleeps four to five hours a night… Perhaps he has been like this all his life. “He’s simply one of those people who doesn’t need enough sleep.”
In an interview with “The O’Reilly Factor” on Fox News Channel that aired in 2017, Trump said that he usually goes to bed at midnight or one in the morning and wakes up at five in the morning to eat, read newspapers, and watch television.
“Don’t sleep too much,” Trump wrote in his 2004 book, “Think Like a Billionaire.” “I usually sleep about four hours a night.”
Experts recommend that adults get seven to nine hours of sleep each night, according to the National Heart, Lung, and Vascular Institute.
