Egypt’s first national football team, led by coach Hossam Hassan, has qualified for the 2026 World Cup after topping its first group in the qualifiers.
After defeating the Guinea-Bissau national team in the last round with a clean goal, the official page of the Football Association revealed on Facebook that the Egyptian national team achieved a distinguished record for the first time in 91 years by qualifying for the World Cup finals without suffering any defeat in the qualifiers.
The Egyptian national team played 10 matches in the World Cup qualifiers, winning 8 matches, drawing two matches, and did not suffer any defeat.
The stars of the Egyptian national team and the technical staff led by Hossam Hassan celebrated their qualification for the World Cup after facing Guinea Bissau.
