Italy.. 3 police officers were killed in an explosion

The Italian news agency ANSA reported today that three members of the Carabinieri police (Italian National Gendarmerie) were killed in an explosion that occurred during a police operation in northern Italy.
Thirteen police officers, members of the Carabinieri forces, and firefighters were injured in the accident that occurred in the “Castel Dazzano” area, south of the city of Verona.
ANSA reported that police officers were disinfecting a rural house in which three people were staying.
For its part, the Carabinieri police in Verona did not initially comment when asked.
ANSA added that a man and his sister in their sixties were detained on suspicion of their involvement in the explosion, in which the woman was also injured.
The police are currently searching for the third person who was residing in the house, who is said to be a relative of the two brothers.
ANSA indicated that the explosion caused the two-story building to collapse, burying the police personnel.
