The Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi launches "Family space" in "GITEX 2025"

ABU DHABI, 14 October / WAM / His Excellency Engineer Hamad Ali Al Dhaheri, Undersecretary of the Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi, during his visit to the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion at the GITEX 2025 Global Technology Exhibition, accompanied by a number of leaders in the social sector, was briefed on the most prominent digital initiatives and projects on display, which embody the efforts of the Abu Dhabi Government in employing technology and innovation to improve the quality of life and enhance the integration of services.

His Excellency witnessed the launch of the new “Family Space” project on the “Tamm” platform, which aims to support families in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and facilitate their access to government services through a unified and smart data panel.

The “Family Space” project is one of the innovative digital projects developed by the Department of Community Development in cooperation with the Department of Government Empowerment and a number of government agencies, as part of its efforts to empower families and enhance their cohesion through an integrated digital experience that facilitates the management of the various daily family needs. The project enables family members to access a package of unified services that cover the various stages of life, starting with marriage services and passing through children’s education. In order to enhance the well-being of all family members to ensure a more stable and quality life.

The Undersecretary of the Department of Community Development said that the “Family Space” project is one of the most prominent of these pioneering projects, as it embodies our commitment to supporting and enabling families to manage their needs easily and conveniently through the “Tamm” platform, providing a unique and integrated experience that ensures quick access to basic government services.

He added that the launch of these projects during this global event, and in the Year of Society, embodies the vision of our wise leadership in building a cohesive and interconnected society, capable of keeping pace with global technological developments, and moving confidently towards a more sustainable future. This confirms our firm belief that the family is the first nucleus of social development, and that empowering and supporting it is an essential pillar in the process of prosperity witnessed by the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

The platform provides an interactive user interface through a control panel dedicated to each family, which enables users to access relevant government services such as issuing documents, registering children in schools, following up on academic reports, and school transportation services, in addition to services directed to specific groups such as senior citizens and people of determination.

It also includes innovative digital tools such as the “Family Tree” that displays family data in a visual and interactive way, and connects the user to information and services customized for each family member. The project also aims to facilitate the family journey of customers through the “Tamm” platform, and facilitate access to more than 190 digital services in one place, ensuring an integrated experience that enhances the efficiency and quality of services and supports the well-being of the family and society.

During the visit, His Excellency listened to an explanation from the project team about the features of the new digital platform, which includes the “Madeem” journey, which offers a unique digital journey for young people about to get married, and includes financial and housing support services and a marriage preparation program. It also includes a panel dedicated to pet owners to manage their data and official documents, in addition to managing data and documents for the domestic help category.
