The 2008 Egypt national team concludes its preparations for the World Cup in Morocco with a strong victory over the National Bank

The Egyptian handball team, born in 2008, completed its preparations to compete in the World Cup tournament in Morocco scheduled to be held during the month of October, by achieving a deserved victory over the first team of the National Bank with a score of 32/29 in the friendly match that brought together the two teams in Alexandria.

This victory comes to conclude the team’s strong preparatory program, which the Egyptian Handball Federation, headed by Captain Khaled Fathi, was keen to implement accurately, as It included a series of international and local matches aimed at raising the players’ competence and preparing them for an honorable appearance in the World Cup.

 

The Egyptian national team participated during the preparation period in the Mediterranean Championship and succeeded in winning the bronze medal, before playing a number of friendly international confrontations against the national teams of Spain, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, America and Algeria, and then completing its program. With strong matches against professional Premier League clubs such as Sporting, Smouha and the National Bank, which demonstrated the great development in the level of young players.

 

Captain Khaled Fathi, President of the Federation, Captain Amr Fathi, a member of the Board of Directors, and Captain Moamen Safa, Sports Director of the Federation, were keen to accompany the team in Alexandria, in support of the team and keen to raise morale. For players before traveling to Morocco.
