The Egyptian Red Crescent distributes more than 4,000 tons of humanitarian and petroleum aid to Gaza
The Egyptian Red Crescent, on Friday morning, as an exceptional day, sent a convoy « Pride increased…from Egypt to Gaza» The 52nd, Which carries a number of urgent humanitarian aid trucks towards the Gaza Strip, as part of its continuing efforts as a national mechanism to coordinate aid to Gaza.
The “Zad Al-Izza” convoy carried On its 52nd day, More than 4,000 tons of urgent humanitarian aid, which included more than a thousand tons of food baskets, more than 700 tons of essential medical and relief supplies needed by the Strip, and more than 2,300 tons of petroleum supplies, and this comes within the framework of Egyptian efforts to provide food and relief support to the people of Gaza.
It is noteworthy that, the « convoy; “Zad al-Izza…from Egypt to Gaza,” launched by the Egyptian Red Crescent, launched on July 27, carrying thousands of tons of aid that varied between: food supply chains, flour, baby formula, medical supplies, therapeutic medications, personal care supplies, and tons of fuel.
The Egyptian Red Crescent exists as a national mechanism for coordinating and distributing aid to Gaza, On the border since the beginning of the crisis, the Rafah crossing was not closed permanently from the Egyptian side, and it continued its alertness in all logistical centers and its continuous efforts to enter aid, which amounted to more than half a million tons of humanitarian and relief aid, through efforts 35 thousand volunteers in the association.
