Abu Dhabi Police participates in the Al Dhafra Dates Festival
ABU DHABI, 18 October / WAM / Abu Dhabi Police participates in securing the Al Dhafra Dates Festival and Auction in Madinat Zayed in the Al Dhafra region during the period from 17 to 26 October 2025, which is organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, and aims to raise awareness of the importance of agriculture and various heritage activities.
Brigadier Hamdan Saif Al Mansouri, Director of the Al Dhafra Region Police Directorate in the Criminal Security Sector, said that the festival embodies the thought of the late founder of the state, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul,” in preserving and continuing the ancient Emirati heritage, especially the palm tree.
He stressed the interest of Abu Dhabi Police in cooperating with various local government agencies to highlight the great success of this heritage festival, pointing out that the Directorate will continue to perform its security role to preserve our cultural gains in cooperation and partnership with various agencies.
He explained that the Directorate, in cooperation with various departments of Abu Dhabi Police, provides many services, most notably facilitating entry and exit procedures for visitors to the festival, providing a number of police patrols to facilitate the flow of traffic to visit the festival site, and guiding the public and introducing them to police and security services through the participation of several police agencies.
