Al Ain played a professional match against Al Hamriya…and our goal now is “Ajman.”

Serbian Vladimir Ivic, coach of the Al Ain team, confirmed that the great victory his team achieved over Al Hamriyah, with a score of 7-0, today, Sunday, in the round of 16 of the President’s Cup, was the result of the organized performance and high concentration of the players, noting that the team turned the match into a useful experience before facing Ajman in the league.

Ivic said after the match: “We played a good match and a professional performance from start to finish. The early goal gave us the advantage and comfort in the game and controlling the rhythm of the match through passes and organized construction of attacks.”

He added: “We scored a large number of goals and finished the match in a distinguished manner. It also gave us the opportunity for a number of players to participate and prepare well for the upcoming matches.”

The Al Ain coach explained that the team will shift its focus directly to facing Ajman next Thursday in the ADNOC Professional League, stressing that the match will not be easy, especially since it is outside Al Ain Stadium. He said: “The next match will be difficult, so it was important that we maintain readiness and continue the same attacking pattern.”

Ivic concluded his statement by saying: “The match was beneficial from all sides, and our goal is always to provide the best possible performance and score the largest number of goals.”
