Imam Ashour will miss the Egyptian Super Cup, despite the approaching recovery
The journalist Ahmed Schubert revealed the continued absence of Al-Ahly midfielder Emam Ashour from the team’s matches in the Egyptian Super Cup in the Emirates, despite his being very close to recovery.
Schubert mentioned on his radio program on “On Sport FM” Ashour has reached an advanced stage of recovery, reaching about 98%, but one of the liver enzymes has not yet reached the normal rate, and it is expected that the player will need an additional 48 hours of medical follow-up before his full recovery is confirmed.
Schubert added that the technical staff is studying the possibility of Ashour traveling with the delegation to the Emirates to support him morally, despite his exclusion from the technical calculations to participate in the matches, in order not to Risking his health condition.
