Dubai International Rally starts on November 20

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, the Dubai International Rally (Baha) competitions, organized by the Emirates Motorcycle and Motorcycle Organization, will start from 20 to 23 November 2025.

This event is the final round of both the FIA World Baja Cup and the FIM Baja World Cup for motorcycles and quads, marking the conclusion of the motor sports season in the Middle East region, as the event has established its position as one of the most prominent and difficult rallies on the global desert racing agenda.

This year’s ninth edition will be held in its current form as the Baha Rally, 46 years after the rally was first launched in 1979 under the name “Dubai Rally”, which is considered one of the most prestigious sporting events in the UAE and the region, and is known for its diverse terrain and challenges that attract elite drivers and racers from all over the world.

Participants will set off from Dubai Festival City Mall – the official base of the event – to explore during the starting stage the beauty of the picturesque nature in the Hatta region within the Hajar Mountains, before engaging in two days of grueling competitions amidst the unique Al Qudra sand dunes, which give the rally a special character that combines challenge and dazzlement.
Registration for participation closes on November 6, 2025, when the list of participants seeking to repeat the achievement of the champions of the 2024 edition will be revealed: Nasser Al-Attiyah (car category), Konrad Dabrowski (motorcycle category), and Abdulaziz Ahli (quads category).

On this occasion, Khalid bin Sulayem, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Motor and Motorcycle Organization (EMSO), expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his continuous support and insightful vision that contributed to consolidating the position of the Dubai International Rally (Baha) as one of the most prominent events on the global motorsport calendar, and strengthening Dubai’s position as a leading international sports centre.
