Al Jazira is one of the best clubs in the world in terms of facilities and professionalism

Al Jazira team player, Brazilian Willian Rocha, expressed his great happiness with the victory achieved by his team over Ajman, which coincided with his arrival in the 300th match in his professional career, stressing that this moment represents for him a point of pride, pride and a new responsibility in his football career, indicating that he considers “Pride of Abu Dhabi” one of the best clubs in the world in terms of facilities, infrastructure and professionalism in dealing with players.

Rocha told Emirates Today that he feels great gratitude to everyone who supported him on this long journey, explaining that reaching this number by playing 300 matches is not just a personal achievement, but rather the result of teamwork and multiple experiences in his career, whether in Brazil or in Portugal before landing in the Emirates.

Player Rocha added that his life in the Emirates represents a new chapter full of motivation and ambition, pointing out that he is experiencing an important period of stability with his family, as he resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and daughter, and their presence by his side is one of the secrets of his psychological balance on and off the field.

He explained that the comfortable and supportive environment he found at Al Jazira Club helped him adapt quickly, both in sports and life, stressing that this harmony was reflected in his performance on the field and in his stable technical level since joining the team.

The Brazilian player continued that his ambition does not stop at individual numbers, but rather extends to achieving group championships with Al Jazira, explaining that the team possesses the capabilities that qualify it to compete strongly for the league title this season.

He said: “I fully believe in the team’s ability to move steadily towards achieving the club’s goals, thanks to the quality of the players, the technical management and the professional organization that distinguishes Al Jazira from other clubs.”

He stressed that “the standards that I found in the club exceeded my expectations before signing, and I see that Al Jazira is one of the most professional clubs in the region, not only in terms of the quality of facilities and infrastructure, but also in terms of attention to the smallest details related to preparing and developing players.” He considered that the work system within the club embodies the true meaning of professionalism, as the players enjoy integrated administrative and technical support that helps them give their best in every match.”

The Brazilian defender pointed out that his choice to join Al Jazira was the right decision in his career, as it came after a careful study of the club’s path and ambitions. He said: “I found in the team a real project for continuous growth, with a constant ambition to play for titles, which is in line with my personality, which is always looking for new challenges.”

He continued: “Playing in a league characterized by continuous development, such as the ADNOC Professional League, represents an exciting experience for me on both the technical and personal levels, and I seek to be an influential element in the team’s journey.”

The former coach of Willian Rocha in Portimonense, the Portuguese Ricardo Pessoa, said that Rocha is a player with a strong personality on and off the field, noting that he has closely followed his development since his move from Cova da Piedad to the Portuguese Premier League.

Pessoa, who followed the match between Al-Jazira and Ajman, explained to “Emirates Al-Youm” that Rocha has distinguished physical and technical abilities, and is good at playing in more than one position, but he sees him primarily as a solid center back, distinguished by strength in air balls and individual confrontations, in addition to possessing the calm necessary to build attacks from the back.

He added: “The player has shown consistency in his level over four consecutive seasons, as he is the type who easily adapts to different football schools and improves his performance every season. His move to Al Jazira is considered a successful step and an (excellent deal) that reflects his true value as a professional player capable of adding to any team wearing his logo.”
