President Sisi receives the Prime Minister of Kuwait

The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, Ambassador Mohamed Al-Shennawi, stated that Mr. President began the meeting by welcoming the great guest of Egypt, stressing the depth of the strategic relations between Egypt and Kuwait, and the historical ties that unite the two brotherly peoples, directing his greetings to His Highness Sheikh/ Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, praising the efforts. The continuous efforts led by His Highness to achieve development and prosperity in the sisterly State of Kuwait.
Ambassador Muhammad Al-Shennawi, the official spokesman, added that the Prime Minister of Kuwait, for his part, conveyed the greetings of Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to the President, praising the tangible development witnessed by Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations at all levels, and stressing the State of Kuwait’s keenness to deepen the bonds of historical cooperation between the two countries in various fields. He also extended his congratulations to Mr. President on the occasion of the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, which embodies Egypt’s cultural status and ancient history, expressing his country’s appreciation for the important role played by the Egyptian community in Kuwait, which has and continues to make contributions in many aspects of life in Kuwait, especially in the health and education sectors. In this regard, Mr. President affirmed Egypt’s welcome of Kuwaiti investments in all fields, stressing the state’s commitment to overcoming any obstacles and providing all necessary facilities for the success of Kuwaiti investors in Egypt.
He explained The official spokesman said that the meeting dealt with developments in the regional situation, as the Kuwaiti Prime Minister expressed his country’s appreciation for the pivotal Egyptian role in consolidating the foundations of security and stability in the region, praising the tireless Egyptian efforts in reaching an agreement to stop the war in the Gaza Strip, where in this context the importance of fully implementing the agreement and initiating the process of rebuilding the Strip was emphasized.
