Jana Khattab wins bronze in the World Taekwondo Championship in a historic achievement

Jana Khattab, the Egyptian Taekwondo national team player, succeeded in winning a bronze medal in the World Championship in the under-53 kg competition in the tournament held in China during the period between 24 and 30 October of this year.
Jana was able to achieve victory in the quarter-final match against the Thai champion; Thus, she reached the semi-final match before losing to the Turkish champion and winning the bronze medal.
Jana opened her tournament journey by defeating the Indonesian champion with a score of 2-1 in the round of 32 before defeating the neutral country champion with the same score in the eighth-final.
In the quarter-final match, Jana defeated the Thai champion with a score of 2-0, thus reaching the semi-final and securing a new medal for Egypt. In the championship.
It is noteworthy that Egypt succeeded in obtaining the gold medal for Saif Issa in the 87 kg competition, making Jana’s medal the second medal for the Egyptian delegation in the championship.
