The head of the Anti-Money Laundering Unit participates in meetings "INTOSAI"
Counsel Ahmed Saeed Khalil, Head of the Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Unit, participated in a number of meetings of the 25th Conference of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), which is being held in Sharm El-Sheikh under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi during the period from 27 to 31 October of this year, and hosted by the Central Auditing Organization.
The Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Unit stated – in a statement today – that the meetings in which Counselor Ahmed was keen Saeed Khalil for participating in it, which focused on confronting financial and economic crises, and employing artificial intelligence techniques in audit and review work, within the framework of keenness to enhance aspects of joint cooperation between the unit and the bodies concerned with financial oversight at the local and international levels.
Continuous meetings are held during the days of the conference to discuss the decisions and recommendations to be approved in the main conference, and to discuss periodic reports issued by (INTOSAI) entities. Meetings and side events are also held to enhance Institutional integration, unification of professional trends internationally, and exchange of experiences and best practices between SAIs in various parts of the world.
