Emirati women entrepreneurs explore e-commerce and artificial intelligence solutions in China

ABU DHABI, 8 November / WAM / A delegation of Emirati women entrepreneurs, as part of the training program “Emirati Women Entrepreneurs: Exploring the Business Environment in China,” was briefed on the latest digital marketing and e-commerce practices during a visit to the Chinese city of Hangzhou, which included the headquarters of major companies such as “Alibaba,” “Amazon,” and “Envimind Technology Limited.”
The visit, which falls within the framework of the “Emirati-Chinese Businesswomen Council” and was organized by the General Women’s Union and the UAE Embassy in China, aims to deepen knowledge of digital methods and enhance knowledge exchange with leading global experiences.
During the tours, the delegation reviewed the innovative business models at Alibaba, participated in training on customer experience at Amazon, and the delegation at Envimind was briefed on digital content solutions based on artificial intelligence, which, according to the company, contribute to reducing content production costs by up to 80%.
The participants stressed that the visit represented an opportunity to formulate visions that support the competitiveness of emerging Emirati projects globally.
The Emirati-Chinese Businesswomen Council is an offshoot of the “Councils of Emirati Entrepreneurs in Friendly Countries” initiative launched by the General Women’s Union under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, “Mother of the Emirates”, President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation.
