"Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2026 " Launches January 31

Sharjah, November 13 / WAM / The “Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival” will start next January 31 and will last for two days at the “Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park” under the slogan “Where We Belong” with the aim of enriching the innovation scene, enhancing institutional leadership at the local and global levels, and embodying the spirit of belonging and cooperation that inspires entrepreneurial communities and pushes the innovation process towards broader horizons.

The next edition of the festival is supported by a group of strategic partners, namely Emaar Properties, Arada Real Estate Development, Du, Emirates General Petroleum Corporation – Emarat, Bank of Sharjah, and Sharjah Businesswomen Council. These partnerships embody the festival’s approach to expanding the scope of its influence and establishing a stimulating environment for entrepreneurs, owners of emerging projects, and creative ideas.

The festival is organized by the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa), which is a major driver in Sharjah’s strategy aimed at strengthening its position as a global center for entrepreneurship.

Through its activities, the festival provides an integrated platform to empower the next generation of startup founders, support economic diversification, and enhance the emirate and the region’s contribution to the global knowledge economy.

Her Excellency Najla Ahmed Al Midfa, Vice President of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center “Sheraa”, said that true innovation is not achieved in isolation, but through a system that believes in humans, their ideas, their flexibility, and their ability to make positive change in the world. Therefore, the festival brings together an elite group of business leaders, embodying our conviction that entrepreneurs are the builders of the future of the economy, as we in Sharjah believe that investing in building human capabilities is an investment in a sustainable future, and this is the essence of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2026, the platform that employs innovation to achieve tangible goals that Enhances the contribution of a sense of belonging to supporting paths of progress and growth.

In turn, Sarah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Executive Director of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa), said: “Every prosperous system begins with individuals who believe in a common goal and are convinced that ideas built on trust and cooperation are capable of changing entire economies. In Sharjah, this goal has been transformed into an integrated system that brings together founders, investors, mentors, and policy makers around one vision to enhance the process of entrepreneurship, and the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2026 comes to embody this vision through a platform.” It stimulates innovation and progress where entrepreneurs find opportunities for development and growth. Based on its successful experiences in organization and expanding the scope of specializations and impact, the “Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival” 2026 is re-presenting a group of specialized areas with the support of its main partners, each of which is designed to serve a specific aspect of the entrepreneurial journey.

The “Impact Zone” highlights projects that contribute to creating a positive societal and environmental impact, while the “Creativity Zone” provides a hub for innovation in design, content and arts, while the “Made in Sharjah Zone” promotes local talent and products.

The “Startup City” provides a dedicated space to enable emerging Emirati companies to showcase their products, communicate with investors, benefit from the expertise of business world leaders, and focus on investment and growth, while the “The Vault” area provides very important insights into business financing and development.

The eighth session of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2025 attracted more than 14,000 visitors and 300 international speakers across 10 specialized regions, and witnessed the organization of more than 250 events and 400 exclusive investment meetings, along with 150 startup companies that showcased their latest innovative products and services.

By expanding the scope of its programs and events and signing strategic memorandums of understanding with leading global institutions such as Microsoft and Enterprise Ireland, the festival has established itself as an influential international platform that strengthens the interconnection between the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Sharjah and the world and opens new horizons for cooperation and innovation.
