Morocco raises its record consecutive victories to 17

The Moroccan national football team increased its record streak of consecutive victories and raised it to 17, when it defeated its Mozambican guest 1-0, the day before yesterday, at the Grand Stadium in Tangier, as part of their preparations for the finals of the African Cup of Nations scheduled in the Kingdom.
Girona midfielder Azzedine Onahi scored the only goal of the match in the seventh minute. Morocco’s series of victories began on June 7, 2024, and it shared the previous record of 15 victories with the Spanish national team, which achieved this series when it won the European Cup in 2008, before it ended in June 2009.
The previous record, 14 consecutive wins, was held by France between March 2003 and February 2004.
