Abdul Latif: We seek to prepare a generation that creates technology and not just uses it

In a new field tour, he conducted  This morning, Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, made a surprise visit to eight schools in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, in order to determine the level of discipline and follow up on the regularity of the educational process in the schools.

 

 

And began  Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif visited the “Qalin Distinguished Official Language School” affiliated with the Qalin Educational Administration, which includes 1,253 male and female students, as the Minister was keen to inspect the classrooms to ensure the progress of the educational process, and to follow up on the teachers’ explanation of the lessons in the classrooms.

 

He also conducted  The Minister conducted a dialogue with teachers about the teaching methods followed in light of the developed curricula, and also followed up on the attendance and absence rates of students, and evaluation booklets.

 

The Minister also inspected the activity rooms, laboratories, and libraries, and was informed of the level of their equipment and the extent of their effective use to serve the educational process.

 

Then the Minister went to the “Martyr Al-Sayyid Abdel Aziz Alwan Secondary School for Girls” affiliated with the Qalin Educational Administration, which includes 1,600 female students.

 

During the visit, the Minister held a dialogue with a number of female first-year secondary school students about the subject of programming and artificial intelligence, indicating that their active participation in studying the subject of programming and artificial intelligence through the platform represents an important step in the path of developing their capabilities, stressing that they have the opportunity to obtain an international certificate accredited by the Japanese University of Hiroshima if they pass the “TOFAS” test, stressing that This certificate provides students with multiple future job opportunities.

 

Abdul Latif stressed, during his conversation with the students, the ministry’s keenness to provide them with all means of support during their studies on the platform, calling on them to commit to and continue monitoring to achieve the maximum benefit from studying programming and artificial intelligence, explaining that the platform is a real opportunity for excellence.

 

Then the minister went to inspect the “Martyr Ahmed Hilal” school. Preparatory Boys" Which includes 555 students, where he monitored the students’ academic level, their commitment to schoolwork, weekly assessments, and their understanding of the curricula. At the end of his tour, he praised the efforts of the school principal and the good conduct of the educational process.

 

After that, Minister Muhammad Abdel Latif visited the “Martyr Colonel Ahmed Salah al-Din Malik Secondary School for Boys.” Under the Qalin Educational Administration, which includes 892 students, he was keen to engage in dialogue with the students about the baccalaureate degree system and the multiple examination opportunities it offers compared to the single examination opportunity in the high school system. The Minister also discussed the students in various academic subjects, including programming and artificial intelligence, asking them to make the most of the “Kerio” platform. Japanese to develop their skills, explaining that integrating this content into the Egyptian education system opens new horizons for skill-based learning and character building.

 

The Minister also held a dialogue with a number of members of the Quality Support and Measurement Unit, during their presence at the school, about the administration’s goals and their work tasks, wishing them success in carrying out their mission.

 

The Minister stressed that the Ministry is keen on developing critical thinking skills and creativity among students. Students, and not rely on memorization and memorization, stressing that the school must be an environment conducive to learning and production and not just a place to receive lessons.

 

The Minister then went on a visit to a number of schools in the Desouq Educational Administration, where he inspected the “Ibn Haroun Primary School”, which includes 821 male and female students, and followed the level of male and female students in reading, directing teachers to pay attention to developing the students’ reading and writing skills. Since the first grades, as it is the basic foundation for building their personalities and developing their abilities, he also stressed the need to take into account individual differences among students to ensure achieving the highest rates of educational attainment. Which includes 772 students, where he was keen to discuss with the students and teachers the developed curricula and their ability to comprehend the academic subjects. He also interacted with a number of teachers about the weekly evaluations, and also followed the students’ notebooks in the Arabic language subject within the program for developing reading skills for students in the upper grades.

 

It also included a tour  Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif visits “Sanhour Al-Madina Preparatory Girls” School Which includes 777 female students, where he was reassured about the level of the female students in the study, praising their level, and the good performance of the school principal, and he also directed to continue paying attention to maintenance work, and maintaining the cleanliness of the school walls.

 

The minister concluded his inspection tour by visiting the “Martyr Lieutenant Ali Saad Dhani Combined Secondary School.” Which includes 827 male and female students. During his inspection, he was keen to talk to the students about their future scientific ambitions, the extent of benefiting from modern technology, and the importance of their studying programming via the “Kerio” platform, stressing that the Ministry of Education aims to prepare a generation capable of creativity and technology makers, not just users of it.
