Modern Sport Al Masry strengthens its presence in the Emirates by opening its new headquarters in Sharjah

The Egyptian Modern Sport Club has strengthened its presence in the Emirates by opening its new headquarters in Sharjah, a move that reflects the attractiveness of the Emirati sports environment and its ability to attract projects aspiring to regional and international expansion.
The opening took place in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Sports Club, Mohammed Jumaa Bin Hindi, and the President of the Modern Sports Club, Dr. Walid Dabas.
The launch of the new headquarters is an extension of the path that the Egyptian Club began within the country, after its participation in the third division league, as Modern Sport found in the Emirates an ideal starting point to build its professional project, taking advantage of the advanced sports environment, supportive infrastructure, and regulations that give ample space to develop young talents.
Mohammed Juma bin Hindi praised the organizational level and professional equipment of the headquarters, stressing that the club’s presence in Sharjah will represent a qualitative addition and an opportunity to enhance sports cooperation between the two sides.
He said in press statements: “Cooperation between Sharjah Club and Modern Sport is an important step for the development of football in the region, and it also reflects the depth of Emirati-Egyptian relations in the sports field.”
For his part, Dr. Walid Dabas confirmed that choosing the UAE as the main headquarters for the club’s international expansion did not come out of nowhere, but rather the result of a vision based on benefiting from the Emirati sports experience and the professional work environment it provides.
He said: “The opening of our headquarters in Sharjah is a major step in the regional expansion plan, and we seek partnerships and development programs with Emirati sports institutions, in a way that enhances the exchange of experiences and raises the level of sports work on both sides.”
He added: “Modern Sport aspires to advance through the football ranks in the country, all the way to the professional league, in addition to establishing academies aimed at attracting players from the Emirates and developing the age-level sector, stressing that the UAE laws regarding the resident player constitute a great incentive to build an integrated project.”
The President of Modern Sport revealed an international expansion plan that includes four clubs in its early stages, all with private hotel facilities, and will start from the Emirates towards Nigeria and then Europe, specifically the Republic of Ireland, with the aim of graduating players capable of undergoing professional experiences, and achieving a sustainable economic model based on developing and selling players.”
He concluded by saying: “The launch of this strategy in the UAE represents an acknowledgment of the quality and development of the sports sector in the country, which has become an ideal environment for clubs wishing to grow and expand, thanks to the infrastructure that rivals the best countries in the world.”
