Humaidan explained, “During the winter season, Dubai offers a variety of activities that meet different tastes and age groups. Desert activities on offer include safaris in the Al Qudra Desert, sand boarding, attending falconry shows and Bedouin dinners under the stars. As for marine activities, visitors can enjoy yacht tours, diving, sailing in Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah, or watch the sunset from Dubai Creek.

He stated that in the winter season, Dubai turns into a destination full of international offers and events that make it the capital of tourism and entertainment in the region. This season witnesses the launch of the Dubai Shopping Festival, which takes place between the months of December and January, and is considered one of the largest shopping festivals in the world, as it offers discounts of up to 75% in major centers, in addition to music shows, fireworks, and daily raffles.

Humaidan continued: “Dubai is one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the world, as it has been able to combine Arab authenticity and global modernity in one integrated experience. The emirate has elements that make it a prominent destination, according to reports from the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai. The emirate received more than 18.7 million international visitors during the year 2024, an increase of 9% compared to the previous year, and the hotel occupancy rate reached more than 80%, which is one of the highest rates in the world.

He said: “Dubai is distinguished by its modern infrastructure, which includes Dubai International Airport, one of the busiest airports that connects the continents, in addition to an advanced transportation network that includes the metro, tram, and smart buses. The emirate is home to more than 800 hotels and resorts, ranging from the most luxurious international brands such as Burj Al Arab and Atlantis, The Palm, to family and economic hotels. It is also considered one of the safest and most stable cities in the world, making it an ideal destination for families and tourists from all countries.”

Humaidan pointed out that “Dubai represents a model of global cultural diversity, as more than 200 nationalities live there, which is reflected in its modern character. This diversity appears in the food, events, and arts that the city embraces throughout the year. In addition to its innovative projects such as the Museum of the Future, Ain Dubai and Al Seef District, the emirate continues to develop sustainability initiatives to become a leading destination in responsible and smart tourism.”
