Wadi Degla renews its contract with British tennis coach Mark Tennant for 3 years

The Wadi Degla clubs announced the renewal of the cooperation contract with the British Mark Tennant with the aim of continuing to develop the tennis system within the clubs. The announcement came during the signing ceremony held inside the club, in the presence of Rami Majed, Head of the Sports Development Sector, Raouf Abdel Karim, Head of the Sports Technical Sector, and Taher Gamal, Head of the Sports Operations Sector, in addition to international expert Mark Tennant.

The new contract extends for 3 years, during which it includes between 3 and 4 annual visits by Mark Tennant to follow up on training programs in all branches of the club, in addition to providing workshops for coaches and updating the approved technical curricula. This renewal comes as an extension of the previous period of cooperation, which witnessed a remarkable development in the level of players, especially in the under-10 category, in addition to the Egyptian Tennis Federation’s praise of the improvement in the performance of coaches and the increase in the base of practitioners.

Through this partnership, Wadi Degla clubs continue to support youth programs and provide high-quality training content, ensuring continuous development of the technical system and achieving more achievements in the coming years, stressing their continued commitment to developing the sports structure and raising the level of technical performance of players. And coaches, and support Egyptian talents to achieve more successes at the local and international levels.
