Al-Ahly doctor reveals details of the injuries of El-Shenawy, Abdel-Qader and Shukry
Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, the doctor for the first football team at Al-Ahly Club, said that the x-rays that Mohamed El-Shenawy, the team captain, underwent, confirmed that he suffered a second-degree strain of the connective muscle, which he suffered during Al-Ahly’s match against Algeria’s JS Kabylie in the first round of the group stage of the African Champions League.
The Al-Ahly doctor added that the x-rays showed that Ahmed Abdel Qader suffered a partial tear in the posterior muscle, while the x-rays revealed that Muhammad Shukri suffered a first-degree strain in the calf muscle.
Each player is scheduled to undergo rehabilitation training according to his own program to prepare him medically in preparation for his return to participation with the team.
