Al-Ittihad Alexandria withdraws from the final of the League against Al-Ahly
Al-Ittihad Alexandria officials officially decided not to play the final of the Al-Ittihad Basketball League against Al-Ahly club, in objection to the Federation’s decision to evacuate the stadium of fans and play the match without an audience.
The Rosalyoussef Gateway learned that Al-Ittihad Alexandria players received instructions from the board of directors to leave the stadium and return to Alexandria and not play the match.
A quarrel broke out between the players of the Al-Ittihad Al-Ahly team. And Al-Ittihad Alexandria, shortly after the end of their match, with offensive chants being chanted by the fans present In the stands
Things flared up after a player from the Al-Ittihad Alexandria youth team threw the ball at Al-Ahly’s bench immediately after the end of the match that brought together the two teams in the second leg of the Al-Ittihad League final.
The behavior of the Al-Ittihad Alexandria player resulted in quarrels between the players of the two teams and the chanting of offensive slogans by the fans.
