Fujairah Port celebrates the 54th Union Day

Fujairah, 28 November / WAM / Yesterday, Fujairah Port celebrated the 54th Federation Day of the country, amid wide participation from cultural and community institutions, and in the presence of the executive management, port employees and strategic partners.

The celebration, which was held in the Fujairah Port building, was attended by His Excellency Captain Musa Murad, Director General of Fujairah Port, His Excellency Khalil Ibrahim, Deputy Director General, department directors, department heads and port employees, along with a number of representatives of government and security agencies.

The celebration included cultural, heritage and national activities, competitions, reciting poetry, performing traditional national songs and dances, entertainment segments and national competitions, through which the port was keen to revive the values ​​and principles of the founding fathers, consolidate national meanings, and strengthen the Emirati identity in the hearts of citizens and residents of the Emirates, in addition to organizing a heritage corner with the participation of productive families, a photo exhibition, and the participation of various groups of society.

His Excellency Captain Musa Murad said in his speech on this occasion that Union Day is a great occasion in which we proudly recall the sacrifices and efforts made by the founding fathers, and we remember the values ​​of unity, loyalty and belonging on which the UAE was founded, and on this occasion we extend our highest congratulations to our wise leadership and the people of the Emirates.

For his part, His Excellency Khalil Ibrahim said that Union Day represents a national milestone in which we express pride in the achievements that have been achieved since the establishment of the Union, and an embodiment of the Emirati spirit that brings together the people of this country under one banner, asking God to perpetuate security and prosperity in our country, and to preserve our wise leadership.
