Egypt leads the world in karate for people with special needs for the third time in a row

The Egyptian national team for people with special needs was crowned champion of the “Cairo 2025” Karate World Championship, after an exceptional performance that confirmed the continued Egyptian leadership in this tournament for the third year in a row.
The current edition, currently held in the main indoor hall of the Cairo International Stadium, came to highlight the success of the Egyptian organization and the praise of the participating delegations for the technical and administrative level. Outstanding.
Egypt topped the medal table with 9 various medals, 4 gold medals, a silver medal, and 4 bronze medals, ahead of Italy, which came in second place with 4 medals.
The Egyptian champions succeeded in winning four gold medals, won by Abdel Aziz Assem. “Motor Disability”, Fatima Abdel Badie “Motor Disability”, Ahmed Waheed “Intellectual Disability”, and Rawan Khalil “Visual Disability”.
The champion Marwa Ahmed also won the silver medal in the disability competitions Visual, while players Salma Alaa El-Din, Jodi Ashraf, Jana Abdel Badie, and Abdel Rahman Ihab added four bronze medals.
