Maadi and Yacht Club signs with Captain Medhat Farouk to lead the rowing team again
The Maadi and Yacht Club announced the official contract with Captain Medhat Farouk to assume the coaching duties of the club’s rowing team, as part of the management’s plan to develop the tournament sector and return strongly to the podium.
This decision comes in appreciation of Captain Medhat’s distinguished career, as he was the first coach of the rowing team at the Maadi and Yacht Club and succeeded during his previous work in achieving many achievements and championships, and under his leadership his players won a large number of Gold medals at the local and international levels, which contributed to strengthening the club’s position among rowing clubs in Egypt.
The club also appreciates the efforts of Captain Medhat Farouk during his absence from work at the club, during which he worked to complete the journey of his company specialized in manufacturing rowing boats and kayaks, which was founded by his late father, stressing the superiority of the Egyptian industry and its ability to compete, based on his deep experience, passion for the sport of rowing, and his love for his country.
