This hosting comes as an extension of Qatar’s experience in organizing the same tournament in 2019, 2020 and 2024, when Real Madrid won the last title at Lusail Stadium, which hosted the World Cup final. FIFAQatar 2022.

The matches will be held in World Cup stadiums that have previously hosted World Cup matches, and can be easily reached via public transportation networks, especially the Doha Metro. The organizing committee also confirmed providing a barrier-free experience for fans with disabilities. The tournament will be held during the rest days of the Arab Cup, in a version that shows Qatar’s ability to host two major events in the same period.

Hospitality that enhances the guest experience

With the return of major tournaments to Doha in December, hospitality has emerged as one of the pillars that Qatar is betting on to enhance the fan experience. “Beyond Hospitality” has worked We are developing dedicated hospitality services for the tournament, including various packages to suit different categories of audience within the stadium suites.

These packages seek to combine the global level of service with local features, from the design of the spaces to the nature of the accompanying dishes and offers, making attending matches part of a broader experience that is not limited to watching sports only. This trend contributed to redefining sports hospitality at major events, and making it an essential part of the identity of tournaments in Qatar.

Despite the role of advanced stadiums and smooth transportation in raising the level of organization, what distinguishes tournaments in Qatar is the country’s ability to provide an integrated model that combines organization, hospitality, a safe environment, and cultural openness, which has attracted fans from various countries.

Qatar was distinguished by providing an experience based on the proximity of sports facilities to each other, which allowed fans to move easily between matches and events. The presence of eight stadiums within a limited geographical area, and most of them connected to metro stations, made transportation a simple part of the fan’s day, in exchange for a longer time allocated to enjoying the event itself.

This combined model reduces the logistical burden faced by fans of previous tournaments in countries with long distances between cities.

Although the stadiums were the main focus, the cultural scene played an important role in shaping the fans’ experience. During the 2022 World Cup, Doha witnessed widespread interaction in markets, museums and art centres, in addition to heritage displays that extended from the Doha Corniche to Katara.

This momentum has helped introduce the masses to new aspects of local culture, whether through organized activities or through daily interaction with residents.

The tournaments are usually accompanied by artistic and cultural events that turn Doha into an interactive space that extends throughout the day. The fan moves between live shows, festivals, and activities before and after the match, making his attendance at the tournament part of a comprehensive daily experience.

The tournaments hosted by Qatar combine a combination of elaborate organization, modern infrastructure, hospitality, security, and cultural depth, which makes the experience complete from the moment of arrival until departure. These are elements that contributed to consolidating the image of Doha as a prominent destination for sporting and cultural events, and in making the tournaments held there an experience that many fans look forward to repeating.
