Urgent.. America prevents fans of Iran and Haiti from entering its lands in the 2026 World Cup
The United States officially announced on Thursday that fans of the Iranian and Haiti national teams will not be allowed to enter the country during the 2026 World Cup finals.
White House spokeswoman Carolyn Leavitt explained that the decision comes for reasons related to national security, noting that allowing entry will be limited only to the two official delegations of the two teams.
The Iranian Football Federation had decided a few days ago to boycott The 2026 World Cup draw scheduled in Washington on Friday, in protest against the allocation of a limited number of visas to his country’s delegation.
The United States granted visas to four members of the Iranian delegation, including Amir Qalinovi, the national team’s coach, but it did not grant a visa to the federation’s president, Mehdi Taj!
