Mustafa Assal wins the Hong Kong Squash Championship
Mustafa Assal, ranked first in the world and champion of Palm Hills Club, was crowned champion of the Hong Kong Open Squash Championship after defeating Youssef Ibrahim sixth seed and champion of Wadi Degla in the final 3-0.
The results of the rounds were: 11-6, 11-8, 11-6.
This is considered to be The third title for Mustafa Assal this season after winning the US Open and the Egyptian International Open.
Nour El-Sherbiny, champion of the Sporting Club and ranked No. 4 in the world in squash, won the Hong Kong Squash Championship title after defeating American Oliva Weaver with a score of 3/0.
It is worth noting that the Hong Kong Squash Championship 2025 is considered one of the most prominent international tournaments on the agenda of the International Professional Squash Association (PSA), as it will be held in Hong Kong, with the participation of an elite group of the most prominent squash players from various countries around the world.
The total value of the financial prizes is 449,000 US dollars, with 224,500 dollars for the men’s category and the same for women.
