Real Madrid, the traditional rival of the Catalan club, came in second place with 35 players, who participated in 29,439 minutes over the course of the season, while Paris Saint-Germain came in third with 31 players who played 18,455 minutes during the current season.
The French team Rennes came in fourth place, presenting 29 players who participated in 22,599 minutes, and the Dutch team Ajax Amsterdam came in fifth place, presenting 27 players who participated in 16,255 minutes.
Chelsea, the English club that is more famous for buying stars than creating them, is ranked sixth on this list by presenting 25 players who played 17,723 minutes over the course of the current season.
Spanish club Real Sociedad finished seventh with 24 players who played 15,115 minutes this season in the major leagues of the Old Continent.
The three positions, from eighth to tenth, were shared by an English trio that included Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal, and each team had 22 players.
The United stars played 15,889 minutes, compared to 15,34 minutes for the Al-Samawi players, and 14,427 minutes for the Gunners stars.
But Man City remained among the three most retaining academy sons, specifically the trio of Rico Luis, Nico O’Reilly and Phil Foden.
