Facing Iraq is a test to determine the capabilities of the Algerian national team in the Arab Cup

Algeria’s national team coach, Madjid Bougherra, described the Iraqi national team as “good” and “one of the biggest teams in Asia,” considering that the expected confrontation between the two teams tomorrow, Tuesday, in the third round of the Arab Cup, will be strong and difficult for the two teams in order to qualify for the next round.

He said in a press conference on Monday: “The match will also serve as a benchmark for the Algerian national team to know its potential in the Arab Cup,” describing all the tournament’s matches as “derbies” and strong.
He added, “The Algerian national team will play every match as a final match.”
The Algeria coach pointed out that “the Iraqi team is different in every tournament because it is characterized by ferocity and gives the maximum effort possible.”
