المملكة: Arresting violators of the environmental law in the regions of Asir, Riyadh, and Medina
Special Forces for Environmental Security A citizen violating the environmental system, for transporting cubic meters of Grazing Violation(20) camels in sites where grazing is prohibited in the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve, and regulatory procedures were applied against them.
The forces confirmed that the penalty for grazing camels is a fine of (500) riyals for each camel.
Exploitation of sediments
The Special Forces for Environmental Security also arrested residents of Pakistani nationality violating the environmental law, For exploiting sediments in the Medina region, legal procedures were applied against them.
The forces explained that two equipment used in bulldozing and transporting soil were seized.
They are urged to report any cases representing an attack on the environment or wildlife on the number (911) in the regions of Makkah, Medina, Riyadh, and Sharqiya, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the regions of the Kingdom, and they will be dealt with.
