crisis "toddle" Storm a deal "Diabaté" Al-Ahly loses the contract race at crucial moments

Al-Ahly’s negotiations to include Ivorian striker Ibrahim Yalatif Diabate witnessed a dramatic development, after the deal suddenly faltered, as a result of the lack of a place in the list of foreign players in Al-Ahly, and the club is considering dispensing with Moroccan defender Achraf Dari, which caused the Red Castle to lose control of one of its most important offensive goals in the current Mercato.

According to private information published by the Africa Foot website, the agreement was reached. The final with the Swedish club Gais was almost complete a week ago, after the club agreed to Al-Ahly’s offer of one million and 600 thousand dollars, and set a deadline of seven days to complete the procedures.

However, Al-Ahly’s management was unable to adhere to the specified date, due to its contractual dispute with Achraf Dari, which led to freezing the addition of a new foreign player to the list, which is a prerequisite for Diabate’s registration.

Dari, who is linked, refused. With a contract extending until 2028, he made every attempt at an amicable solution, insisting on receiving his full dues and compensating him for any possible termination.

This clinging complicated the situation and forced Al-Ahly to postpone all its steps related to the deal, which prompted Gais to consider the agreement void as soon as the official deadline expired.

On the other hand, Al-Ahly officials tried in the last hours to reopen the door to communication with Diabate in the hope of saving the deal, but The player ignored their communications and expressed his strong dissatisfaction with the Egyptian mediator, considering that the club did not adhere to its promises despite his fulfillment of his pledge, in light of other offers he received from European and Gulf clubs during the recent period.

According to the same sources, Diabate feels betrayed by Al-Ahly’s retreat at the crucial moment, which indicates that the relationship between the two parties has suffered a rift that is difficult to repair, and one of Al-Ahly’s most prominent goals in the transfer market has been lost, amid… An ongoing crisis threatens the club’s plans for the new season.
