Women’s handball loss to Paraguay at the end of determining the World Championship positions
The women’s handball team lost to His counterpart, Paraguay, with a score of 30-28 in the framework of determining the 27th and 28th places in the President’s Cup in the World Championship held in the Netherlands and Germany. This came after Egypt was in second place in the second group of the President’s Cup after defeating its Uzbekistan counterpart with a score of 30-18, in the third President’s Cup match to rank places from 25 to 32 in the World Championship held in the Netherlands and Germany, achieving the first victory in the history of the world championships.
The women’s handball team tied with its Cuban counterpart, 26-26, in the second match of the President’s Cup, and the team rested, on Friday, after losing to China, 35-32, before meeting Cuba.
The group stage witnessed the women’s handball team losing to Austria, the Netherlands, and Argentina, before competing in the President’s Cup.
