With Argentina and Spain… Egypt participates in a friendly preparatory tournament for the 2026 World Cup

The journalist Ibrahim Abdel-Gawad revealed on On Sport channel that an international friendly tournament will be organized next March, hosted by Qatar, as part of the teams’ preparations for the 2026 World Cup.

The tournament is expected to include four major teams: Egypt, Qatar, Spain, and Argentina, as part of a strong preparatory plan before the start of the 2026 World Cup.

The match schedule and details are scheduled to be announced.

The Egyptian national team came in the seventh group of the 2026 World Cup, along with the teams of Belgium, Iran, and New Zealand, in a strong group in which the Pharaohs seek to seize the ticket to qualify for the second round.
