The Minister of Solidarity congratulates journalist Hadeer Al-Hadary for winning the United Nations Global Correspondents Association to cover climate change issues

Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, congratulated journalist writer Hadeer El-Hadary, who won the United Nations Correspondents Association’s Global Award for Coverage of Climate Change Issues, which falls within the category of “Prince Albert II of Monaco Award for Coverage of Climate Change.”
Hadary was the only Arab journalist among the journalists who won this year’s United Nations Correspondents Association Awards.
The Egyptian journalist received the medal. Bronze for the award in New York City, the United States of America, at the United Nations Headquarters during the twenty-ninth awards ceremony of the United Nations Correspondents Association, and the award was presented to her by Ambassador Isabelle Picot, Permanent Representative of the Principality of Monaco to the United Nations.
The United Nations Correspondents Association (UNCA) awards are among the most prestigious international journalistic awards; It annually honors journalists and media organizations that provide in-depth professional coverage of United Nations issues, sustainable development and human rights, with a special focus on major global challenges, most notably climate change.
