The Minister of Foreign Affairs meets with military attaches nominated to work abroad

He met Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs, today, Monday, the military attaches nominated to work abroad and their wives, within the framework of the military diplomacy course.
Minister Abdel-Ati discussed the determinants of Egyptian foreign policy in light of the rapid regional and international developments, and their repercussions on Egyptian national security, reviewing the nature of the political, security and economic challenges that the region is witnessing, and the high coordination requirements it imposes among the various state agencies operating abroad.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the importance of integration and close coordination between the components of the Egyptian representation abroad, especially between diplomatic missions and military attaches, to ensure a consistent presentation. The meeting also witnessed an interactive discussion about the dimensions of foreign work and its requirements, and the role of diplomacy in supporting foreign policy during the period of work in countries of accreditation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Minister Abdel-Ati expressed his wishes of success to the military attaches and their wives in their upcoming missions, stressing his confidence in their ability to represent the Egyptian state in a manner befitting its status and regional and international role.
