Before Mohammed bin Rashid… 35 citizen judges in the Dubai Courts take the legal oath

Before His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, 35 new citizen judges in the Dubai Courts were sworn in, at Zabeel Palace in Dubai.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, and Chairman of the Dubai Judicial Council, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Supreme Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Group, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, expressed his He wishes the new judges success in performing their noble judicial responsibilities, stressing the importance of the role played by the judiciary in establishing the foundations of justice, preserving rights, consolidating the rule of law, and adhering to the values of integrity and impartiality that constitute the core of the judiciary’s mission.

His Highness stressed that an independent and impartial judiciary is a cornerstone of the stability of societies and enhancing confidence in institutions, and a bulwark for protecting rights and preserving human dignity, and that a fair judiciary contributes to building a safe and balanced society that supports the comprehensive development process.

For their part, the new judges expressed their deep thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his trust and lofty guidance, stressing their commitment to performing their judicial duty with all honesty and impartiality, and adhering to the highest standards of justice and integrity in the service of the nation and society.

The swearing-in ceremony was attended by His Excellency Counselor Essam Issa Al-Humaidan, Attorney General of the Emirate of Dubai, His Excellency Professor Dr. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director of the Dubai Courts and Acting Head of the Courts for Administrative Affairs, His Excellency Judge Abdul Qadir Musa Mohammed, President of the Court of Cassation and Acting Head of the Courts for Judicial Affairs, and His Excellency Professor Dr. Abdullah Saif Al-Sabousi, Secretary-General of the Judicial Council.
