An amazing comeback for Sharjah… from two deficits against Al-Nasr to winning by four

The Sharjah team overturned its deficit against Al-Nasr to a thrilling 4-2 victory, in the match that brought them together this evening at Al Maktoum Stadium, within the opening of the twelfth round of the ADNOC Professional League, in the presence of a crowd of nearly 1,500 spectators, thus marking the first victory for Portuguese coach Jose Moraes with “The King” in the league competition.

Al-Nasr opened the scoring early through Kevin Agudelo in the seventh minute, before Sharjah returned to the atmosphere of the match with the equalizer after Al-Nasr defender Salem Sultan scored an accidental goal against his team. However, the “Dean” finished the first half ahead after Luka Milivojevic succeeded in converting a penalty kick into a second goal at the 45+2 minute.

The second half witnessed a strong uprising for Sharjah, as they equalized through Caio Lucas in the 60th minute, before Othman Kamara gave his team the lead for the first time by scoring the third goal after only three minutes. Caio Lucas continued his brilliance by adding his second personal goal and his team’s fourth in the 68th minute, confirming Sharjah’s superiority and decisiveness in the match.

With this victory, Sharjah raised its score to 10 points in eleventh place with two postponed matches, while Al-Nasr’s score froze at 18 points in sixth place, receiving a new blow in the race for the advanced positions.
