Jockey Abdullah Al Bastaki wins the “Jamilti” Cup title at the Mohammed bin Rashid Endurance Festival

Jockey Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al Bastaki from MRM Stables was crowned the winner of the Jamilati Cup race, designated for female mares, over a distance of 120 kilometers, as part of the competitions of the 19th edition of the His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Endurance Festival, which was held today at the Dubai International Endurance City in Saih Al Salam, with the participation of 188 male and female riders representing various stables and equestrian clubs in the country.
Al Bastaki was able to cover the race distance on the “Beaulieu Markan” horse with a time of 4 hours, 26 minutes and 15 seconds, achieving first place, while the jockey Mohammed Saleh Al-Attas from Al Wathba stables came in second place on the “Raw She Star” horse with a time of 4 hours, 26 minutes and 26 seconds, a difference of 11 seconds, and the jockey Saif Ahmed Al Mazrouei from the “MRM” stables came in third on the horse “Beaulieu.” Ahno” with a time of 4 hours, 26 minutes and 29 seconds.
After the conclusion of the competitions, the Director General of the Dubai Equestrian Club, Ahmed Al Kaabi, crowned the winners of the first three places, where those in positions from first to tenth received in-kind prizes consisting of 10 cars, while those in positions from eleventh to 40 received various financial prizes.
The His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Endurance Festival will conclude next Saturday with the main race, “His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Endurance Cup,” for a distance of 160 kilometers, sponsored by Emirates Airlines.
