Al-Sharjah did not provide what it deserved to win over Al-Bataeh

Portuguese Jose Moraes, coach of the Sharjah team, confirmed that the loss that his team suffered against Al Bataeh with two goals to none, in the postponed match between the two teams from the tenth round of the ADNOC Professional Football League, was a clear loss, indicating that Sharjah did not deserve to win in this confrontation.

Moraes explained, during the press conference after the match, that the problem was not limited to the lack of scoring, but also included the defensive side, after the team conceded two goals, stressing at the same time the need to focus on the future and work to correct mistakes.

The Sharjah coach said: “We appeared in this match at a level lower than the level that would enable us to achieve victory,” stressing the importance of focusing and working seriously in the upcoming matches in order to put the team back on the right track.

Morais added that the reason for the loss is not due to recklessness, but rather to not providing the required performance that qualifies the team to achieve victory, stressing the need to continue working until Sharjah reaches the level that enables it to win in the upcoming matches and compensate for its failure in this match.
