Register The pound sterling on Wednesday rose against the US dollar and the single European currency "euro".
It reached London Stock Exchange President (FTSE 100) traded on Wednesday, with an increase of 0.31%.
The index – which includes the 100 largest companies on the London Stock Exchange – achieved gains equivalent to 31.39 points, reaching the level of 10,168.74 points.
